Fans React to Mavericks' Anthony Davis New Prank TV Show

The premier of Dallas Mavericks star Anthony Davis's new prank show took place right after the end of the NBA All-Star coverage. Davis had advertised the show a few weeks back and many fans were looking forward to tuning in.

Davis even got Brian Quinn of the Impractical Jokes to help him with this show.

For those who have not yet seen the episode, look away, as the ARTICLE CONTAINS SOME SPOILERS.

When the show was filmed, Davis was still a member of the Los Angeles Lakers. All of his first guests on the show were athletes from around Los Angeles.

The first person Davis pranked was Jarred Vanderbilt, a former Lakers teammate. Davis and former Lakers guard D'Angelo Russell had Vanderbilt believe that he had killed a goat.

The second person was former Los Angeles Clippers guard Terance Mann. Davis and Los Angeles Sparks Cameron Brink pranked Mann, creating some tension and hilarious moments.

For the final prank, Davis enlisted the help of Los Angeles Dodgers star Mookie Betts to go after Dodgers manager Dave Roberts. However, both Roberts and Betts turned the page on Davis and pranked him instead.

This may have been the best one yet, giving Davis a taste of his own medicine. Both Roberts and Betts sold the prank well and Davis couldn't believe what happened.

All in all, fans seemed to enjoy the show generally, with many chiming in on social media. Here are some of the best reactions from fans during the show's airing.

Many Lakers fans commented about missing Davis while watching the show as well. Davis being traded to Dallas was a massive move, and it has taken some time for the fanbase to get used to the trade.

The first episode of the show seemed to be a success, and fans are looking forward to the next one. Davis may have found something that could really work moving forward and the star center got a big win in his first episode.
