This has led to a lot of discussion about what the NBA should do moving forward. But it seems that not everyone is happy with the complaining that has been going on.

Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant took to social media and called out people for all the issues with the All-Star Game. Durant suggested the NBA should even cancel the events since everyone was so miserable about it all.

"I think it's more fun to complain about the nba than to actually watch it. Crazy, cancel all star weekend and let's just give everybody a break since we're so miserable around this time..."

Durant even went back at a fan who commented under his original post. The fan wrote,

"3v3 half court tournament would solve it but NBA players egos are too fragile. People just want raw competition and competitiveness among the best talents the world has to offer, not some joke of a pageantry with Kevin Hart spewing bullshit the entire time."

Durant then responded to the message:

"U got all the answers huh? lol egos would be fragile from what? Every all star has got embarrassed on the court in some form or fashion throughout the season. What would be so embarrassing bout a 3 on 3 tourney??"

Durant has never been shy about responding to fans on social media, which has earned him a certain reputation around the league. The Suns star clearly has some feelings about the subject and made his opinion known.

Many fans weren't happy with the new All-Star format because it felt more like a poorly run show rather than a basketball game. But the league decided to change things up following concerns over effort levels in recent years.

The new format is far from perfect, but it was the NBA trying something new. The hope is that they can learn what worked from this and tweak it moving forward.

The NBA has a problem in terms of excitement around what is supposed to be a special moment during the season. Everyone is going to have differing opinions on the matter but for the most part, people didn't enjoy this new format.
