Warriors' Steph Curry Loved New All-Star Game Format Despite Fans' Complaints

The NBA has finished all All-Star weekend events, and the teams can now look ahead to the regular season. But with the All-Star events over, there has been a lot of talk about the new format that was used.

The league changed the All-Star Game format after concerns about players' effort levels. NBA fans had many thoughts about the new format, with many left wondering why they wasted their time watching the game on Sunday.

The vast majority of fans weren't happy with the new All-Star format. It seemed more like a poorly run show rather than a game of basketball to showcase the best star players.

But while the fans disliked the new format, it seems that the actual NBA players enjoyed it for the most part. Golden State Warriors star guard Stephen Curry seemed to enjoy the game and commented on the fact afterward.

"I really feel like the All-Star game just needed a fresh look," Curry said. "I think it worked out perfectly."

Curry took home the MVP award for the game, a deserved honor for his performance. In the championship game, Curry scored 12 points to help lead Team Shaq to victory.

The Warriors star also discussed how the game of basketball has changed so the All-Star Game may change too.

"I don't want to compare it to any other era because the world has changed," Curry said. "Life is different. The way people consume basketball is different. It's not going to look like it used to. But it can still be fun for everybody. I think this was — I had fun. Our team had fun. That's kind of all that matters."

All in all, many were left disappointed with the new format of the All-Star Game. The NBA has a big problem on its hands and it will need to figure out a better way to tweak things once again.
