Woman's Way of Looking Through Boyfriend's Phone Has Internet in Hysterics

A clip on TikTok has given internet viewers a hilarious glimpse into a man's scrolling habits.

In the video, a woman captured an instance of her boyfriend's Instagram scrolling, and her reaction has gone viral. In the footage, the woman films her boyfriend as he casually scrolls through his feed, unaware that she is recording. After he pauses on a hockey highlight, he dwells on it for so long that she bursts out laughing. Since the video was posted to @megankinna, it has gone viral with more than 7.8 million views, over 623,000 likes and almost 1,100 comments.

"Waiting for him to get to a hot girl but couldn't keep it together," she captioned the video. When he stopped on the hockey clip instead, though, she couldn't help but laugh. "Like, why was that hilarious?" Newsweek reached out to @megankinna for comment via TikTok.

In the comments, the woman revealed just how much the situation had her in stitches.

"It's so funny, because he stopped on it for so long—had me laughing so hard," she wrote. The hockey clip showed what appeared to be a player flying through the air at a shocking height, captivating her boyfriend and causing many viewers to wonder if the video was real.

But more than anything, it sparked a flood of responses from people who can relate to the boredom that sometimes comes with watching their partners scroll through endless feeds.

"I have truly never been more bored than watching the stuff on my husband's For You page," one viewer wrote. Another added: "Every time my husband is like 'oh my God, listen to this,' and I'm like 'Honey … it's an ad he's trying to sell you.'"

One commenter asked a very relatable question: "No sound? Where do you find one that doesn't watch the reels at full blast?"

"I really put myself in your point-of-view and tried to keep it together too, and I broke at the same … time," another wrote.

In the video, the couple were positioned with their heads facing opposite directions while laying on each other—something that seemed to confuse viewers even more than the scrolling habits of the creator's boyfriend.

"My brain could not figure out your position. I thought y'all were laying across from each other facing each other and just put your heads on each other's shoulders," one person wrote.

The puzzled response from so many prompted the creator to post a follow-up video using a pillow and foam roller to demonstrate the couple's cuddling position on the couch. And, while it seemed to work for them, after the ease with which she could record him scrolling, it might put other couples off the unconventional pose.
